Paul Bunyan Days is the oldest small-town celebration on the Mendocino Coast. Named for our bigger-than-life logger and his giant blue ox, the festival celebrates the history of the community and pays tribute to the strength of the people who live here.
There are many events during the 4 day celebration, one of the most popular is the Logging Show and Expo. Competition gets fierce with BIG prize money at stake!
The long weekend includes a Kiddie Parade & Kiddie Games, Tricycle Race, an Ugly Dog Contest, Belle of the Redwoods, Craft & Food Fairs, the Blue Ox Beer Festival, Gem & Mineral Show, Classic Car Show, Pie Sale, Community BBQ, and the Volunteer Fire Department Water Fight & Fireman’s Ball.
